Sending attachments as links

Sometimes you may need to send an attachment with your message that goes out to your subscribers.

By using this option, your subscribers will not receive the actual attachment with your message. Instead, they will see a link in your message to download the attachment.

There are a couple of advantages to sending attachments as links. First, your subscriber's ISP will not block this message due to size or spam and virus concerns. Second, those subscribers that are not interested in this particular attachment, don't have to wait while it's downloaded, and it does not litter their hard drive.

Just send a message with your attachment via email and our system takes care of the rest.

Your subscribers can click on the link to download the attachment. This method keeps your email small and more likely to get through the spam filters at the ISP's.

To initiate the feature, click on "Update Your Account Settings" and log into your mail-list account:

Make sure "Mobile First Formatting" is turned on

Click on "Allow Attachments" under "Mobile First" Formatting section:

Select the radio button "Yes" to turn the option on if it is not on already. This option allows the attachments to be sent with the messages.

Select the radio button preceding "Yes" to turn the option on and then click on "mark field for update".

Click on the option "Delete Attachments From Server" to automatically delete the attachments from your server after 1 Month, 1 Year, or Never

Change the number of days in this setting if you wish and save your settings.
