Trim text from original email when replying

WHY: Sometimes people reply to a message, type in their comments, and leave all of the original message below.  This clutters up the email, and probably offends some people on your list. Wouldn't it be nice to receive just a part of the original message with the comments of the person replying?

HOW: Our system offers the ability to trim the original message in a Reply email. Refer to these instructions to turn the feature on:

Log into your Mail-List.com account from https://database.mail-list.com and click on "Customize Your List".

Click on "Mobile First Formatting" and then click on "Trim Replies When People Top Post":

Input a value. The default setting is 20.

The value "20" is the number of lines from the original message that will be displayed when a Reply email is sent.

When somebody replies, all of their message is there, but the original message is now trimmed and limited to only 20 lines. Example:

Notice the last line: "Truncated 1310...."

If people need to read the whole message again, they can review the original message in their inbox.
