How do I get my subscriber to subscribe to my list?
Typically, you will add subscribers to the list yourself. However, in the rare situation when the subscriber initiates the subscription process, the following steps will be followed:
You can decide whether the subscriber can subscribe automatically or if you will moderate them (i.e. approve each new subscriber). If you want to approve each subscriber, turn on the Approve Each Subscriber option. Refer to this post for more details: http://help.mail-list.com/m/59124/l/558327
A new user can subscribe to your list by sending a blank email to our system:
Alternatively, they can send their subscription request through your web page, if that option is available.

If "Approve Each Subscriber" option is on, the subscriber will be sent an Acknowledgement Message, which may look like this:

You will receive an email to approve the subscription. Example shown below:
The body of the email will be blank. Reply to the email to add the subscriber's email address.
If you do not reply to the "Simon-Sez" email, the subscriber will not be added and will not get a Welcome Message.
Once added, the subscriber will receive your Welcome Message. Example shown below:
You can customize the Welcome Message by accessing your mail-list account to make changes.
