1 Question Survey for Discussion Groups

You can run a simple survey from within any email you send to your list.  Each subscriber is allowed to vote one time, and may add comments if they choose.  The voting itself is anonymous.

Create the survey by using the special phrase - survey-link-here
The special phrase - survey-link-here - will be replaced in each subscriber's email with a unique link.

They can select Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down.  They may add comments if they choose.

You can retrieve the voting results at any time, by sending in the command SHOWFEEDBACK

You will get back an email detailing the results.

By default, your digest subscribers will get this survey as an individual message, it will not be in the regular digest.

To change the default setting, update your mail-list account.

Click on "Customize Your List".  Click on "Digest Subscribers Get the Survey As Separate Email" under "Posting Messages to List":

To change the default setting, update your list settings, and change this option to "No". This will then put any surveys into the digest, like all other emails.

By default, only the list owners can send out surveys with the clickable links. You can change this, and allow any of your subscribers to run their own surveys.
