How do I know when a subscriber has posted their first message to the list?

What is the most effective thing you can do to grow your list?

Say "thank you" and welcome people who have just overcome their fears and posted a message to your list!

Just send a simple, private email directly to them, from you.....the List Owner.

Mail-List.com has an optional setting to notify you when Subscribers send their very first message to the List.

When you turn on this option, our system will track when someone posts for the first time.  A copy of their message will be forwarded to you. The Subject line will indicate "First Time Post".

Use the Web Interface to Change Settings

Log into your mail-list account at https://database.mail-list.com.

  • Click Customize Your List.
  • Click Posting Messages To List.
  • Click Notify Moderator On 1st Message From Subscriber.
  • Click Yes.
  • Click Save.
Select "Yes" on the next screen and save your settings.
