How do I approve a message before it goes out to the subscriber list?
Here is a high-level overview of the process:
Log into your Mail-List.com account from https://database.mail-list.com and click on "Customize Your List".
In your mail-list account, click on "Moderate Messages" link under "Miscellaneous Settings":
Select the radio button preceding "Approve Each Message Posted" and save your settings.
In order to learn how to make changes to your mail-list account, please refer to this lesson:
When your subscriber/sender sends a message to the list, it is assigned a serial number and saved in a queue in our system. An email is sent back to you:
Simply reply back to the email and send it in case you are okay with the message. Your message will then be released from the queue.
Multiple moderators - each will get the Command Approve message
If you have multiple moderators, everybody gets the same message.
The first moderator to reply wins.
If they Approve the message, it goes to your mailing list.
If they Reject the message, it will be deleted, without going to your mailing list.
Subject: [Youremailgroup] MODERATE ERROR
If the second (or third) moderator also replies to a COMMAND APPROVE message, it will be rejected with an error, since the action has already been completed.
