- Click Customize Your List.
- Click New Subscribers Settings.
- Click Welcome Message.
- Update the Welcome Message.
- Click Also Save for Other Lists.

- Select other lists to save this change to...........OR
- Click the All button to apply this change to all lists.
- Click Save to apply changes.

.
Advanced Option
You can use special variable names to add the respective values to the Welcome Message for each list.
Put the special variable name in brackets into your data field. The value of that field will appear on your mailing list

Example
Continuing with our Welcome Message example:
Let's say you write a general Welcome Message for all lists, but you want the specific list name used. In that case, you would use the variable name <<desc>> when setting up the message.
See the example below, where our Mailing List is the "Selenium" sub-list.

Result
Since we used the <<desc>> variable, the Welcome Message for the Selenium list will contain the List Description for that specific mailing list.

.
Example
Continuing with the general Welcome Message for all lists example:
Let's say your Welcome Message also includes a reference to the mailing list email. You are letting your subscribers know where to send their messages. In that case, you would use the variable name <<name>> when setting up the message.
To get started using the mailing list, send your new messages to <<name>>@mail-list.com.
Result
For any subscribers in the Selenium sub-list, the Welcome Message would include this sentence:
To get started using the mailing list, send your new messages to selenium@mail-list.com.
