How do I approve or reject a message before it goes out to the subscribers?
Here is a high-level overview of the process:
Log into your Mail-List.com account from http://db.mail-list.com and click on "Customize Your List".
Click on the link "Moderate Messages " under "Preview Messages to List":
Select the radio button preceding "Preview and Approve Each Message Posted":

Helpful Information: With this feature, when someone sends an email to:
YourListNamefirstname.lastname@example.org (where YourListName is the name of your list)
they will receive your Acknowledgement Message. You can customize the contents of this message under "New Subscriber Settings > Acknowledgement Message". Please note that "subscraddr" is replaced automatically with the subscriber's email address when they receive the email.

The message is assigned a serial number and saved in a queue in our system. An email is sent back to you:
Simply reply back to the email and send it in case you are okay with the message. Your message will then be released from the queue and sent out to your subscribers. In case you don't want to send it out, just ignore it or delete the message and it will be automatically removed from our system after two weeks.
