How do I post a message to my list?
You can send a message to your list directly using your email address or through our web interface.
To use the web interface click on "Send A Message To Your List" and log into your mail-list account:
Type in your subject, message and select an email address where you would like to receive a confirmation. Click on "preview" to see how the message looks like.
On the next screen, you will be able to preview your message. Hit "Send Now" or "Cancel" to make changes.
The next screen will confirm that the message was sent successfully:
Your subscribers will receive your message shortly. If you have turned on the option to approve the message prior to being sent out to your list, then you will receive an email to approve the message.
Please note that in case you need to send an attachment with your message, you will need to send it via email.
To send a message to your list from your email address, please create a new message in your email reader, making your email headers look like this:
Put your message into the body of the email. When you hit "Send", one copy of the message will go to each email address on your list.
For subscribers on the digest version, they will get one message per day with all messages that have been sent to the list.
Your subscriber will see their email address in the To: header line and also at the very bottom of your message. They will not see anybody else's email address.
