How do I ensure that a message was posted by my subscriber and not a spammer?
A spammer may spoof your subscriber's email address, and post a message to your list without the subscriber's knowledge.
You can prevent this by turning on a feature called Self Moderation. Each time a subscriber posts a message to your list, they are sent an email with a link. Once they click the link, the message is posted.
This feature can be used two different ways:
-
Automatic Option
Our system automatically sends confirmation emails to subscribers who have not posted recently. -
Manual Option
Add specific subscriber email addresses to be protected.
(Use this option when only certain subscribers are having spam issues.)

- Click Miscellaneous Settings.
