How do I check if a subscriber is on my list?

You can either use our web interface or send a command via email.

Using the web interface:

Log into your mail-list account at https://database.mail-list.com.

  • Click Manage Subscribers
  • Click Troubleshoot Subscriber Email Address
  • Enter the subscriber's email address.
  • Click the radio button preceding Subscriber History.
  • Choose an email address to send the results. 
  • Click Troubleshoot Subscriber.
    A report will be generated and sent to the selected moderator.
Enter the subscriber's email address and click on the radio button preceding "Subscriber History" and the email address where you want to receive the results:

Using an email command for this change:

Alternatively, you can send an email to our system with the command:  CHECKLIST

After sending an email with a command, you will receive two emails from our system in less than 15 minutes.

Helpful Information:  
To check more than one subscriber, add 1 additional subscriber email address per line.
Example:

CHECKLIST
subscriber@domain.com
subscriber2@domain.com

Below is an example of the Command Receipt email:

You will receive an email receipt that will look like this:

Below is an example of the second email confirming the action, assuming the subscriber is a member of your list:

This is how the second email will look like (assuming that the subscriber is actually a part of your list):

If the subscriber is not on your list, the second email from our system may look like this:

The history of subscriber email address subscriptions and removals is included.
