Unsubscribe Link: How to encrypt the email address.
A link to manage subscription status is included at the bottom of each Mailing List email.
Please note: the List Name and Subscriber's email address is clearly visible.

Problem
We've had a few occasions where Subscribers were removed from a Mailing List in retaliation for posting a controversial message.
Solution
Turn on the Encrypt Email Address in the Unsubscribe Link option. This solves the retaliation problem.
The link will look similar to this example:

Use the Web Interface to Change Settings
Log into your mail-list account at https://database.mail-list.com.
- Click Customize Your List
- Click Unsubscribe Settings.
- Click Encrypt Email Address in the Unsubscribe Link.
