I sent my message to the List, but I don't think it worked. Should I send it again?
No. Please wait!
Do not send a duplicate copy until you know what happened to your first message.
Please don't think that if you did (or did not) receive a copy, then that is what happened with all of your subscribers. Your original message may just be delayed.
What could delay a message?
Many things could have happened. For example:
- The message might have gotten stuck in your computer/email and will send later.
- It might have made it to your Internet Provider's computers, but Mail-List.com is down.
- The message could have been received at Mail-List.com but was rejected because you sent it from an unapproved address.
- The message might have been sent to most Subscribers, but your Internet Provider's mail machine is currently down.
How can I verify my message was sent?
The best verification is to check the short-term email archive. If it is listed in the archive, then it was sent to everyone on your list.
For step-by-step instructions on how to check the archives, please see this post.
What if it's not in the Archives?
Please send a message to email@example.com requesting assistance.
